Baruch College has had a commitment to the nonprofit community in New York City since 1976. We understand and appreciate the valuable contribution nonprofit organizations have made to the social, religious, and cultural fabric of our city. Therefore, the School of Public Affairs at Baruch College seeks to create an environment of learning and support for the leaders of our nonprofit community. We want to provide a "home" for the nonprofit community of New York City. We will begin this endeavor by offering a series of free seminars. These seminars will utilize the skill and experience of both School of Public Affairs faculty and respected practictioners from the field. This is an opportunity to sharpen your skills in an informal setting that promises to be both intellectually stimulating and personally satisfying. We cordially invite you to take part in this exciting learning experience.
It is our goal to develop an understanding in our city's nonprofit community that the School of Public Affairs is their resource for specific academic training and life long learning as well as a place to get expert help on work challenges, to network, or simply to meet a colleague or friend for conversation.
