Bin Chen
Bin Chen is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Affairs, Baruch College of the City University of New York. His research and teaching interests focus on cross-sectoral governance and inter-organizational collaboration in public policy implementation, government-nonprofit relations, social network analysis, and comparative public administration and public policy. He has presented a number of conference papers and published in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory and International Journal of Public Administration. He was a policy analyst at the Asia 2000 Foundation of New Zealand and a visiting researcher at the Centre for Strategic Studies New Zealand. He was a British Council Senior Chevening Scholar and a Social Science Research Council Dissertation Fellow in the United States. He received his Ph.D. in public administration from the University of Southern California, M.Sc. in public administration and public policy from the London School of Economics, and B.A. in English from the Shanghai International Studies University. He worked for the Shanghai Municipal Government before leaving to pursue his doctorate.
